As our farm has grown, so has our vegetable stand. What began as a card table and two folding chairs is now a 750-square foot, timber-frame structure with ample room to display our product and for our customers to look around. Even though our stand has changed, our principles have not; we continue to sell only our own vegetables, supplemented by local fruits, cheese, and bread. Since 1980, growing produce with top flavor and quality has always been our number one priority. Come by and taste for yourself!

In Our Farm Stand
Produce Grown with Vermont Pride
Spring Favorites bring something new each day– Spinach, Asparagus, Lazy Lettuce Mix, Arugula, Beet Greens, Strawberries, Herbs, Peas and New Potatoes.
Summer Excitement arrives with our famous Tomatoes (beefsteak, heirloom and cherry), delicious Summer Squash and Zucchini, sweet Onions, Savannah Green Beans, Yukon Gold Potatoes, the best ever Sweet Corn, and our exceptional vine-ripened Melons.

Fall Necessities include Pumpkins, Winter Squash, Broccoli, Cauliflower, Brussels Sprouts and all the root crops.
We are a great source for ripe tomatoes by the box for all your canning and freezing. In the fall we encourage you to think about buying bulk quantities of winter squash and other storage vegetables so you can continue to eat “in season”. Call any time for bulk quantities for Canning and Freezing. Visit Our Produce page to see a complete list of our vegetables and their availability.
While some fruits at the stand are not grown on our farm, we sure enjoy eating them and think you will too. In season, we have locally grown Blueberries, from Wild Hill Organic Blueberries, West Fairlee, VT. These often will coincide with Raspberries that we buy from our neighbors in Vershire. In the Fall, Moore’s Orchard supplies us with a wide variety of Apples. Peaches and Cherries are other popular fruits that we carry throughout the Summer.
Flowers and Specialty Items
If you are looking for Potted Flowers, Cut Flowers or U-pick flowers, you have come to the right place.
Whether it is a small kitchen table, or a large summer event, a bouquet of our field-grown flowers would make a bright, wonderful addition. At the farm, you will find Asters, Calendula, Gerbera Daisies, Snapdragons, Statice, Sunflowers, Zinnias, and more.
Vegetable Transplants, Potted Flowers and a wide assortment of Hanging Baskets are also found at the stand. For a more extensive selection of Bedding Plants, visit our Greenhouses in the Spring. To learn more about our Greenhouses, click on Our Plants.

In the Fall, we sell potted Asters and Mums in all different colors and sizes. Their warm colors compliment our pumpkins and winter squash in such a way that once placed our your porch, it will surely look and feel like Autumn.
Along with our own vegetables at the stand, we sell a selection of other local products. Red Hen’s Artisan Breads arrive several times a week, all freshly baked each morning. Make it a complete meal when paired with a seasonal vegetable soup or your favorite veggie sandwich. Need other condiments? We suggest our homemade Jams and Pickles. If you enjoy caprise salad, know that you will find Maplebrook Farm’s gourmet Mozzarella Cheese here to compliment our mouthwatering, vine-ripened tomatoes and basil.
We sell pure Vermont Pure Maple Syrup from out neighbor Pete. Get it while it lasts! Look for ½ pints to gallons, especially nice for your blueberry pancakes and homemade salad dressings or to give as a gift. Find a gift for a friend or for yourself. Gift Certificates are also available. For a fun addition to your wardrobe, we have annual Crossroad Farm, Big Hed designed, T-shirts, and Caps available.
