Summer Produce Updates

Welcome back from the holiday week! We hope you were able to celebrate - spending time out doors, surrounded by loved ones or enjoying this season's beautiful produce!

We were (and still are) busy harvesting, as this warm weather and steady sun is treating our fields well! Things are growing faster than we can keep up!

Here are a few fun updates:

  • We're now harvesting cucumbers from the field, meaning Picklers are available.

  • Green Onions have grown up into Cluster Onions. They're simply the same onion, just more mature; tasting just like sweet, fresh onions.

  • Snap Peas are just starting!

  • We're trying a new product, Bunched Baby Kale. It's the teenage version of our baby red russian kale, a beautiful, tender kale with just a little spicy kick.

  • Strawberries are still going, but we'll transition into Blueberries and maybe even some Summer Blackberries soon.

Below you'll find a full produce availability list, but make sure to stop by and see it all in person! Our displays, both in Post Mills & Norwich are full, green and gorgeous!

Are you wondering why Norwich has different produce available than Post Mills?
Well, that's because our Norwich Farm Stand supports other local farms in addition to offering Crossroad produce. Edgewater, Killdeer and Root 5 Farms are all examples
