As our farm has grown, so has our vegetable stand. It all started with a card table and two foldings chairs; we're now sharing our produce from two incredible, permanent structures. In Post Mills our timber-frame farm stand marries the feeling of an open air market with plenty of display and counter space. Our produce, just picked from the fields, blankets the counter showing color, texture and pure, natural beauty. In Norwich we welcome customers in through our vivacious flower display - with a green house and open air nursery tables, our flowers are a wonderful pop of color from Route 5! Inside, our produce is displayed alongside the produce and creations of many other Upper Valley farms and vendors; it truly is a one stop shop!

Over the years, even though our stand has changed, our principles have not. We continue to sell our own vegetables, supplemented by local fruits, cheese, and bread, all at their freshest, highest quality. Since 1980, growing produce with top flavor and quality has always been our number one priority. We continue to thrive on this priority and welcome you to swing by and taste for yourself!

At our farm stands you can find Vermont produce grown with pride. Here are some of our favorites:

Spring Favorites bring something new each day – Asparagus, Lazy Lettuce, Spinach Arugula and Beet Greens. Then comes the Strawberries, Herbs, Peas and New Potatoes.

Summer Excitement arrives with our famous Tomatoes (beefsteak, heirloom and cherry), delicious Summer Squash and Zucchini, sweet Onions, Savannah Green Beans, Yukon Gold Potatoes, the best ever Sweet Corn – oh, and don't forget our exceptional vine-ripened Melons.

Fall Necessities include Pumpkins, Winter Squash, Broccoli, Cauliflower, Brussels Sprouts and all the root crops you could imagine!

As a season starts to pass, produce may become over abundant and extra ripe. In this case, we are a great source for purchasing in bulk. Anything from ripe tomatoes for all your canning and freezing to winter squash and storage vegetables for winter nourishment. We whole-heartedly believe in eating "in-season" and if preserving or freezing can allow you to do that, we'll be here to help! Call any time to see what is currently available for bulk quantities. Also, visit our In the Fields page to see a complete list of our vegetables and their availability.

While some fruits at the stand are not grown on our farm, we sure enjoy eating them and think you will too! When in season, we have locally grown Blueberries, Raspberries, Peaches, Pears, Apples and maybe even Cherries. If any produce, at either of our stands, is not local to the Upper Valley, we source directly from farms that we know and feel closely connected to. We're well informed in how the produce we sell is grown; if you ever have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!

Interested in selling your produce or hand-made product at our stands? Contact us with your info and what you're creating, we'd love to hear from you!

In addition to our produce, all fruits and veggies alike, we also sell flowers and specialty items.

Whether you're looking for a potted plant to set on the kitchen table, for bedding plants to decorate the garden or in need of a bouquet of our field-grown flowers, we have you covered! We grow our own annuals, perennials, herbs and veggie starts. For every little detail, head to our In the Greenhouses page. All these lovely burst of color can be found in our greenhouses and at both of our farm stands. If you're looking for a specific type of flower or plant, please give us a call before hand! You can find our phone numbers here.

Inside the farm stands, you'll find a wide selection of other local products. Artisan Breads, from King Arthur Flour and Red Hen, arrives freshly baked every morning it's delivered. Make it a complete pairing with a seasonal veggie, cheese and jam! We highly recommend Vermont local jams, jellies, honey, even maple syrup! And if you need a full meal, our fridges and freezers are chock full of local, humanely raised dairy and meat.

All of this could be a gift to yourself or for another –  CSA Shares and Gift Certificates are always available! And don't forget to add Crossroad Farm to your wardrobe; annual Big Hed designed t-shirts and caps available at both stands.

You can also support Crossroad Farm, and our local community, by visiting our patrons and wholesale customers! Find a complete list here.
